Can they save themselves and the history that's become so important to them?
It’s the summer of 1953. Archaeologist Humphrey Lancaster and Greek archaeological student Phoebe Konstantinou are travelling to the Greek island of Zakynthos for an archaeological survey of the island’s historical sites. Phoebe is excited to be joining the survey team to show her family that Greek women can have careers, despite being female. Humphrey is looking forward to finding out more about his ancestors who lived on the island that he’s only ever read about in books. With Humphrey’s ancestor’s diary to guide them, the team set about exploring the islands history, recording everything for future generations, until disaster strikes. With an island in ruins and no one to save them, Humphrey and Phoebe are faced with having to save themselves, as well as the remains of the island’s history, that’s become so important to them. |
