Hi, I'm Chrissie, an English author living Devon, in the UK. I always wanted to write books and as a child my school reports read, “Chrissie is creative and enjoys her story writing, but needs to pay more attention to academic subjects too!”
My English teacher was very supportive however and encouraged me to follow my dream. So that’s what I did. I wrote my first full-length story called The French Mystery, was written at the age of eleven. Although it was never published, I continued to write lots of short stories and poetry.
My first piece of witing work was published in 1999. It was a history of the Bristol Hippodrome theatre, published in the Bristolian Newspaper, across multiple weeks.
My love of writing was in fictional, stories and my first novel was published in 2008. I've now published eight books and short stories. And will be releasing books nine-twelve from 2025.
Here's a snapshot of the amazing things that have happened since 2008:
My books have been bought and read in many countries including Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, French Guiana, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, USA, UK
In 2016 my book Among the Olive Groves won an historical fiction award

I've been interviewed for Podcasts, Radio, and YouTube Book Clubs in Greece, USA and UK
I've spoken at Literary Festivals and Book Club Events
My poem Maisie was performed at the Bath International Literary Festival in 2012
