About Chrissie
Chrissie has published eight books, in the Historical Fiction/Suspense and Thriller genres, set in Greece, Egypt and Jordan. Some of these books are short stories as well as a collection of poetry and short stories.
In 2016 Chrissie’s book Among the Olive Groves won a SIBA Award in the historical fiction category, and in 2013 her poem Maisie was performed at the Bath International Literary Festival's 100 poems by 100 women event. Chrissie is currently working on books further books including the reader requested follow up to Among the Olive Groves and a co-authored history book about the Greek island of Zakynthos.
As a freelance writer, Chrissie also contributes to the hugely popular tourist website Zakynthos Informer and has written articles for small businesses and numerous publications such as The Bristolian, The Huffington Post, Ancient Egypt and The Artist Unleashed.
With a continuing passion for history, Chrissie has completed two Egyptology courses and an Archaeology course with Exeter University, and this love of history and travel is the inspiration for many of her books.
